I just love the way it starts out as a ho-hum East End gangster flick and then goes into this weird closety-psyhcosexual obsessive place. I've never seen anything quite like the scene where he chops up that man in his underwear and then (thankfully implied) seems to sort of... enjoy it too much. Not to mention the huge strop he gets into over Freddie's girlfriend.

Ah, you can hate his Lupin just as long as you love Tennant's Barty ;)
