I think I'll do more of those quotespams, really, because Alan-love needs to be shared more. And those two things you mention - the Steve backstory and Wash overidentification - so very much need to be pointed out and loved by as many people as possible.

The point of the matter is that Alan is, in fact a geek. (And your icon keeps distracting me whenever I look up! Ahem.) He geeks over acting as he geeks over Halo, and oh how we love him for it.

You know what else is incredibly endearing? His habit of nicking things from sets. Wanting keepsakes from his jobs. I love it.
