"It's chavtastic."

OH. MY. DOCTOR!!!

Well, okay. One of my doctors. My second doctor. How I love you!!!

What, did you think [livejournal.com profile] gabby_silang and I would not actually spend some of her valuable time in Paris watching the premiere of Doctor frelling Who? Think again, my friends. We watched. We squeeed. Oh did we squee. Before, during, after.

Oh god body swap is such a cliché but it's been used so much it's gone all the way around and back into being cool! How wicked is it that that kiss they teased us with happened when she wasn't Rose omg now they're free to do whatever they want with her and him yayayayayayayayayayayyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

Also. How AWESOME was David when she was in his body at first?

And heee glasses and heeee sneakers and oh that suit and I love him love him love him. Not like I love Nine. But I love him. In a very different way that I love Nine, really, it's becoming increasingly apparent. Nine's my first Doctor. He'll always be special. He'll always be 'my' Doctor. (We watched 28 Days Later again and Chris is such an amazing actor I hadn't seen it in far too long! And I want to icon this movie like whoa. I need it on DVD, we only have a tape.)

Aaaaaaaaanyway. Cheap plot resolution, but hey, it's RTD, I don't love him for his plot. I love him because I want to be him. By which I don't mean a Welsh gay man, but a writer that kicks arse on character arcs, if not plots. We share the same weakness! Except his strengths are stronger than mine. (Yes this makes sense in my head.)

Anyway yay!! The Doctor's back, and I really don't like Rose's new haircut, and we had the TARDIS, and next week we have a werewolf and the week after that it's Tony Head squee!

Also loved loved loved when he apologised, that was brilliantly acted. Brilliantly acted. And the Face of Bo thing was wicked. Trust RTD to not forget characters previously mentioned. I like that Bo-Face quite a bit already. I'm sad already that next time shall be the last. Don't die, Bo-Face!

Also, kudos to the actor who played Cassandra's servant clone guy. He had much more range than I expected!

God I can't wait for more. And when he first got back to the TARDIS, I love how they shot him touching her. Like he was relearning her shapes and the way she worked. Beautiful.

Yep. I'm still a fangirl.

EDIT: I just scrolled down the flist quickly and, flist, what do you think you're doing exactly? Not ONE Who-related entry. I'm disappointed in you, people.
