Exactly! It was like passable fanfiction. Pretty good fanfiction, actually, just not amazing fanfiction. Because the amazing fanfiction in that fandom is about the Winchesters. *nods* Like the show should be. Anyway, they had to introduce something that infused the Dean/Jo future romance with a bit of angst, and they've done it, and now we can have that romance some time in the future and I'm not exactly looking forward to it, if it throws the whole thing off balance like this.
