Oh, my god.

We just watched Torchwood 1x12, "Captain Jack Harkness". Tears. That's all I have to say. I loved it. LOVED IT. Twenty minutes before we get 1x13. But I don't see how it could best this one. Even the long-awaited you-know-what.

I just don't see how.

Also, I NEED ICONS. Or just the one, actually, of Jack and Jack.

And I don't understand how somebody like Jack can have that bad of a gaydar, seriously. Every fangirl out there has got a better gaydar than that. Jack was so fucking obviously attracted to him from the very first. SERIOUSLY.

I think the tears were partly due to having spent the whole episode waiting for that kiss to happen, and it was just so. very. draining, and, god. It was so intense as far as Jack characterisation went, and that dance, and the kiss.

Ianto-in-my-head has still not recovered from that "I have no one." Owen's more right than he knows with the "part time shag."

I LOVE the faces real!Jack makes while dancing. So much better than sex. I NEED AN ICON. People, please do pretty icons with those two men.

So when I said that I had nothing more to say than "tears"? It was a big fat lie and I could ramble on and on and on about the episode. For so very long. So I'm gonna quit while I'm ahead but SO MUCH SQUEEING plus god Ianto's grown a backbone.

The military salute at the end, though? Could've done without.

That's it. Shutting up about it.

BUT THAT DANCE, PEOPLE.


Edit: now that we've finished 1x13. That episode was nowhere near as good as 12, but still, interesting dynamics, and OH MY GOD JACK I HATE YOU. Ianto-in-my-head is getting more and more fucked up by the second now that Jack is just gone, right after they got him back, and all he got was this lousy kiss. Makes sense for Jack to just take off, though, and oh god I CANNOT WAIT FOR WHO. I'm gonna try and sleep and ignore Ianto now. Ficcing will have to wait until later. (Why did I have to have Ianto in my head, rather than Jack? I would be much more at peace right now.)

PS: it fills me with much fangirlish glee to know that Gareth David-Lloyd made it to John and Scott's civil partnership registration wedding thing. Whatever you're supposed to call it.

So so so glad you guys have seen it because I just couldn't be coherent about it last night, I was all bouncy and OMFGSQUEEE they finally got it REALLY REALLY right. It was all intense and emotiony and they broke EVERYONE except maybe Toshiko and I loved it. So very much.
