OH, MY GOD.
I don't even know where to start, there is so much for me to squee about this movie. Centaurs and Lucius and SNAPE and Sirius and Imelda and Luna and Neville and the TWINS and just, god. Everything! And the book was boring and badly paced and they managed to correct all that.
Just, everything. I could ramble on for ages but, like. I might never stop. I just. Yeah. All of it apart from how Tonks didn't get enough screen time and Sirius and Snape didn't get their one scene and why did they choose to waste screen time on the stupid house elf exactly since they obliterated his one plot point? Damnit. But still.
I'm so relieved I don't have to hate David Yates. THANK YOU DAVID. YOU STILL ROCK MY SOCKS.NOW YOU NEED TO GET JOHN SIMM IN IF YOU DO DIRECT THE NEXT ONE. I DON'T CARE AS WHO.

CENTAURS OH GOD I LOVE CENTAURS. Ron was so very likable I felt bad he didn't do any Quidditch or become a Prefect but he was still cool for a change. I don't usually like him. Luna was awesome, and I don't usually like her either. I got a Luciusgasm each time he took his wand out of his cane (...). Alan Rickman's delivery is as much foreplay as anybody should need. THEY KEPT SIRIUS CALLING HIM JAMES. Bellatrix was amazing. THE TWINS, AGAIN. In that scene where they comforted the little kid? Oh, you guys. ETC ETC ETC.
