No no no. Just writing a drabble makes me wonder whether she'd be ok with that. I wouldn't dare write anything with an actual plot, not with her stuff. Unless the plot revolved around an OC of mine and her characters were just peripheral, maybe, but let's not get into that.

And I think it's not only that. It's those books in particular. I can see myself writing literary characters like Alec and Seregil, for instance. Or guys from Fionavar. But her characters? Maybe also because I feel some sort of kinship with her, because her books are exactly what I so very much wish I could write, because she's a new writer, I don't know. The quality of the writing certainly plays a part, too. But I just don't wanna do this if she doesn't want other people to write her characters. So yeah, let me know? Thanks.
