"He burns at the center of time and he can see the turn of the universe."
So I know I'm not in the fandom anymore so this is all sort of news to me because I'm late to the party but whatever I just watched the S3 trailer. First, god, I take it the rumours are true and John Simm is going to be the Master oh my god oh my god oh my god! Oh my god.
Second, was that Derek Jacobi?
Third. OH GOD. That was Simon's voice wasn't it I know his voice come on it was. Simon Woods. At the end. It needs to be. Oh god.
Oh GOD.
After this minor freakout, I must get ready for Shakespeare. Puresex here I come!
(I MISS ROME.)

...wait. You don't know who Derek Jacobi is? And you like Elizabethan drama? I have a movie that I need to get you. With him and Chris Eccleston and Eddie Izzard and Marc Warren and whatshername who I loved as Donna in Queer as Folk. Have you seen Queer As Folk? Manchester, not Pittsburgh or wherever it was. ANYWAY. It's called A Revenger's Tragedy. Also you want to watch Branagh's Hamlet, for lots of different reasons, including Derek Jacobi. He's so so good. /rambling
Oh, and thanks again for your notes! I'm sorry they took so long to get back to you. I was looking through them and it's mostly frustrating because of how on the surface it all stays. I want more! I should try and find out if anything's been written on Shakespeare In Love that we might have at the BU.
...clearly I wasn't done rambling just yet.

I WANNA SEE THIS MOVIE VERY VERY MUCH. (you had my at "Christopher Eccleston" of course, but the rest seems nice too!)
(and yes I've seen Queer as Folk Manchester. It was the first time I ever heard of Doctor Who btw)
You're welcome and it's ok I just needed them before the vacations. Yeah, we we're talking with the Macbeth teacher today and we agreed than while the class is interesting, we don't have time to do it properly. I don't understand why we have to study four books when two (one J Austen, one Shakespeare) would be more than enough in 12 weeks. I love my university.

HEEEE. It's two 700 mega files. How should we do this?
Well, Donna! Nathan's friend. "I'm Black, and I'm a woman. Try that for a week." :D It's also the first I ever heard of Who! Hee! If I had known...
Who's your Macbeth teacher? They might have been at the congress as well. Anyway, it's seriously ridiculous. Did they have you do Macbeth in three lessons as well? Because that's insane. Macbeth is like... DUDE. Seriously. Ridiculous.

Er... Does one part goes on a CD ?
It was Mrs Cottegnies. We had four weeks on 2 Janes Austen and 4 weeks on each Shakespeare. At least Mrs Cottegnies realised how impossible it was, hopefullly they'll change it next year.

And anyway! I love Derek as well, but not quite as die-hardly as you, I think. ;) That said, the one word in that trailer, and he puts SO MUCH in it.

*dies of glorious happiness*
Even if I'm so-so on Martha and miss the hell out of Rose, having guest stars like Sarah Parish, Derek Jacobi (OMG!) and JOHN FRICKEN SIMM will keep me downloading every week like an addict! :D

I like Martha sooooo much more than I did Rose after her first episode. Or the second season. Sorry. Sarah yay! I watched, what was it called, Recovery the other night and, wow.
Why is nobody going "oh god Simon Woods yay", though? Am I alone in Simon love? Did I dream that it was his voice? I didn't.
