Which is a very sophisticated way of introducing the following fangirling.

Fangirling over her, first, because she bought me DVDs of Dead Babies and the BSG miniseries. I enjoyed them both so much it makes me forgive her for making me taste marmite. I didn't even know I could hate some form of food this much. God. *shudders*

Fangirling over Dead Babies, because dudes! That movie is insane in all the best and entirely British ways. And god, Paul. In ruffles and lipstick. And just. *gestures at the movie* You know! It's just insane. I love it.

And last but not least, fangirling over BSG. I started watching it and had to stop midway through to go to the movies, where I proceeded to get mildly bored in front of Goodbye Bafana, because oh god I had left them all in such a spot I just couldn't really care about a story I already knew (sorry Nelson). I just. Yeah. I cried when whatever his name was left his spot to Gaius. I love Gaius. I want to hug Apollo like you wouldn't believe and oh god Starbuck and I need to have a lot of sex. Also Callum! Oh, Callum. Not that Tricia isn't hot because she is uber pretty, but she's also really not my kind of girl and oh god I need to see the whole of this show now.

So yeah, I owe Lizzie, big time.

In other news, I really want to be writing Pirates fanfiction but am working tonight and tomorrow night, which means I don't have any time. Hmpf. I need to go to class now.

Man, I loooooved BSG when I first saw it. And then there's the end of S2 and S3 and onward. I hope you continue to like it, but I had to to bail.

Gaius and Six are marvelous though. SO marvelous.

Oh, BSG. I sort of fell out of love during S2, but S3 was just this amazing bit of perfection like I'd never seen before in the TV world. Although I still love the soundtracks even more than the show, which is probably really strange. But Bear McCreary is a genius.

Pirates fic! I fully support this endeavor.

Oh, I know, I've been listening to the soundtrack to this show for months now. I absolutely love the music, it's so amazingly good. I make sure never to look at the tracks titles, though, just in case they might spoil me.

I fully support me having time to write it, which is so not happening. Meh.

Dead Babies was just. Yeah. And the end? Mmhm. It was based off a Martin Amis book of the same name, which I have but haven't read yet, but I can only imagine the stuff they had to cut out to make it a movie. And also? You, writing fiction of any kind when you have time? A Very Good Thing.

lol, I was wondering, and I swear, Marmite has TRAUMATISED MY TASTE BUDS. I have never disliked something the way I dislike Marmite. Just thinking about it makes my gag reflex half kick in. God. Nononono. Never again. It was a tiny little bit with a lot of butter and just. No. Never ever ever again. /rant
