"Why are you telling me this?"

Typed as I watched, again.

- Thank you, Hurley. And oh, I love to watch Sawyer's and Jack's reaction to Hurley's reproach. Brilliantly played.
- Oh, how symbolical. Michael wiping the blood stain off. ...and Eko helping him, as is the role of a priest, to absolve repenting sinners of the weight of their sins. No, I'm sorry, that whole scene makes me want to roll my eyes, it's so obvious. I love Eko, and Triple A, but. Well, less so since he went all crazy-faithful instead of sane-faithful, anyway.
- God, Foxy, your eyes. That look in your eyes. ...what? Jack, no, don't trust the crazy father guy. Why on earth are you trusting him?
- AHAHAHA Charlie comes up to Claire to ask her about Eko. Charlie/Eko is seriously my new OTP. ...they're kind of cute. Charlie and Claire, I mean. And Claire's really pretty when she smiles. I missed them two.
- Aw, Jin is going to be so happy. Come on, Jin, smile for us. Awww, Jin. *loves him up*
- Do they really think we're that stupid that they need to keep telling us "13 days ago" and "Today." WE CAN FIGURE IT OUT ON OUR OWN THANK YOU.
- That Other girl is very pretty, Alex, right?
- Also, Foxy's such a brilliant, intense actor. Sometimes I forget. Clearly today is not one of these days.
- Yes, Alex.
- Seriously, the whole "let's focus this episode on Michael's guilt" thing? I'm bored. I used to like Mike, but. That's the thing with Lost, though. They hardly ever manage to maintain my interest and love in characters. Apart from Sawyer and Jack. ...and Jin. But look at Kate, Charlie, Eko, Locke, Mike... so many characters I loved and was bored/annoyed by rather intensely, at different times.
- Sawyer and Jack moment! ...pretty disappointing moment, actually.
- "It's Michael's call!"? Thank you, Sayid, and thank you, Sawyer. wtf, Jack.
- Eeeep Charlie/Eko OTP!! Oh, Charlie, don't look so sad. Yes, now he's being all spurned-lover-y. Poor Charlie.
- Oh, Christ, Michael. I don't understand how anybody still trusts him.And why would they wanna take Hurley? I mean, okay, he might want to avenge Libby, but he's not exactly war material.
- Oh, Miss Clue knows that the boy's special.
- Sayid, now, you know stuff about reading people, you were a communications officer. ...WHAT? Tell me you just pretended, Sayid, that you don't actually believe him.
- Charlie... I can't believe how much I'm liking Charlie all of a sudden, when I haven't for weeks. Yay Charlie for throwing the Virgins! ...okay that sounded weird. Go on, mate. Throw the last one out too. Yay!
- ...heh. I love the way Jack's all "yeah, we got that" to Eko and inwardly like 'oh god another one of them crazy religious nutters instead of a balanced religious nutter.' Eko, not even going to the funeral, ack. WHY OH WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE TRYING SO HARD TO KILL MY EKO LOVE.
- Sawyer and Jack moment again! "I screwed her." "You what?" Heee. (Want a demo?) Oh, Sawyer. Oh, Jack. OH SAWYER! The LOOK in Jack's eyes. I LOVE YOU GUYS. (The capslocking's all due to "Because you're the closest thing I have to a friend" thing. Oh yeah.)
- THANK you, Hurley. Don't give in to Michael like every fucking body else on this island. (Apart from Sawyer, whose awesomeness is not to be put in words.)
- Joey just realised this would end on a cliffhanger. She is not yet wise in the ways of JJ. Because, duh.
- I want to know what the Others know, because they're clearly much more knowledgeable in the ways of... everything. About this island.
- Is it bad that I don't trust Walt? (Or that I just typed that "Wat", because I'm obsessed?) God, JJ ends up making me suspect everybody in all of his shows.
- Miss Clue, or however you spell that, you are creepy, and I like you. You and your big dark eyes. I'd love to see something with her and Eko.
- Funeral time. Oh, Sawyer. He needs cuddles, he really does. Isn't there an RP somewhere that needs a Sawyer? I'd love to write him.
- And John's back on his feet and off!
- Sayid, your tank top, your collarbones, your shoulders. I'd missed that. ...YES!!! Thank you, Sayid, for seeing past Michael's act. Yayayayayay! Jack, listen to Sayid, he is in his element. You aren't. You're in way over your head.
- ...I really, really, really want to cuddle Sawyer. The way he holds himself, hands in his pockets, and. Yeah.
- Hurley. You need the cuddling too. ...WHAT? Hurley, no. Why go? I mean, it works for Sayid's "let's create an advantage" thing, but. Still. Are there no pacifists whatsoever on this island? Tch.
- Awwww Claire and Charlie I'm such a sucker I love them!
- BOAT? ...this is the end of the episode, right? ...yes, yes it is. *eyeroll*

Right. Well. The good thing? I definitely won't be holding my breath until next season week.

As for Alias, they completely screwed up Sloane, and it sucked. But Sark was very pretty, and spoke Italian, which made the whole thing very watchable. But god, I could care less about Tom and Rachel, what is the point of them being in this show? I adore Marshall, though, and don't care about Vaughn and Dixon, and Sark makes any scene worth watching and oh god he kicked so much arse it was BRILLIANT. Right. Also, I have decided that he needs to kill Peyton in the finale.

And possibly also have a scene with Weiss, who will absolutely have to be in these episodes or there will be bloody murder.

And Sloane was so bloody disappointing! Damnit.

The season finale is next week (a 2 hours long episode), I just checked because you made me doubt.
This one didn't feel at all like a finale. The season finale cliffhanger will feature people about to experience a gruesome death, there will be a shocker of some kind and we will see our lostaways fight a little bit and get captured or something (and we might have a glimpse of what's inside this new hatch).
At least that's my best guess.

And I was wondering, if you were done with Deadwood, could I have a go at it. You tend to have amazingly good taste in TV shows :)

...oh thank god. 'Cause this was really really, I mean even for JJ, not a good cliffhanger.

Yes! I'll burn you a DVD with it. Mwah!

I tried not to read this in case there's any spoiler. But you mean it's the end of Lost ? I wasn't expecting it so soon ! Which season is it ? Yeah I'm lost. I should really start again to watch my series. No excuses now, I've got my computer.

Actually the end of the season (which is S2) is next week, I got it wrong. Oops.

[identity profile] miss-kao.livejournal.com 2006-05-19 09:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Ok, so, it's not even the last last episode, you were talking about the last episode of S2, right ? I got confused, I thought it was the end of everything !

Oh, god no. I think they've got stuff planned for at least five seasons. ...at least. I can't remember for sure. Anyway, it's a big long thing. Else I suspect we'd get answers more quickly, which might not be all that bad of an idea. /end hint to JJ *grumblesgrumbles*

Seen how the american system for TV shows work, it will go on as long as it makes money because if J.J gets tired of writing it, the network will find someone else to write it. Let's hope this doesn't happend and don't have to end the show too fast or not in a good way.

[identity profile] fan-elune.livejournal.com 2006-05-20 11:09 am (UTC)(link)
...it would actually probably be better without JJ. Damon could take over with Drew, and all would be well. Yay!

You're probably right, I don't know much about writers ^^

Agree with everything you said about Alias -- Sloane, Sark, Tom, Rachel -- all except for Peyton. I'm loving her a whole lot more than Sydney right now, and I want she and Sark to survive to do evil mercenary deeds together into the future. It's the cold look in Peyton's eyes I admire, you can really believe her villainy, and it's something Nikita (of La Femme Nikita) also had that Sydney doesn't (whether it's straight old Sydney, Anna!Sydney, Julia Thorne, whatever). Jennifer Garner could never pull off a truly, scary-cold intimidating expression. Peta Wilson, even when you knew she was a marshmallow really, could do it in her sleep.

"A whole lot more" than Sydney, maybe not, but more than Sydney, well... that's not very hard. And my problem is that I don't... care, about her, at all, whatsoever. Either Amy doesn't sell it, in some scenes, which gets me very annoyed because she used to be so good, or she does and I just... can't care. She can't pull off both the coldness and making me care, so I just find myself wishing they'd kill her off to stop this. It's very frustrating to see an actress I like play and have this kind of reaction to her.
