A pitiful soul that could not believe in the Great Spirit

Am on a Cowboy Bebop roll thanks to [livejournal.com profile] pee_wai! This show is so very good. The characters, their past and depth, and their interaction are excellent. Those who know me, and the show, won't be surprised to learn that I got obsessed with Vicious and Gren (from Jupiter Jazz, the sax player - check out the icon). I'm actually working on a little something involving those oh so fascinating characters. Hopefully it will be worth something. However, I don't quite know who will read it apart from Peewai... oh well.

Anyway, it'll be called The Tear of a Warrior, and it will be quite short. It'll take up the events of Jupiter Jazz and fill in the blanks, basically.

Yesterday night we watched The Incredible True Adventures of Two Girls in Love, with the lovely Laurel Holloman. It was... okay, I suppose. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't so very good either. It was Laurel's first part though, and she was cute as a button. It's the kind of film that should not have been a film but, say, a story arc on My So-Called Life. Damn, I wanna see that TV show again.

Great Girl

And have you seen the Cowboy Beepop movie that was released a few months ago?

Nope, didn't. I might, one day. Right now, I'm looking to watching the whole show. Then we'll see about the movie. ;) But I asked Peewai and it's not about what I like most in the show, so...

Oh, btw, I can provide you a reader if required. :-P
Among my pool of "clueless 'Bis Repetita' beta-readers", she's the one who was the less clueless (and she only was because of HL being totally foreign to her).... O:-)

Isn't she French? Does she read English? And, most importantly, how does she feel about slash? ;)

[identity profile] heikki-cheren.livejournal.com 2004-07-13 11:18 am (UTC)(link)
She's French, but does read English. As for slash.... She knows Yann since much longer than I do, and did read Les Récifs, so I guess some slash (nor even the rest) won't frighten her. ;-)
As for gay stuff, I'm pretty sure it's with her that I went to see that Thai (?) film about a national volleyball team whose members were all either gays or transvestites (based on a true story).
And she is a manga/anime fan.

So, gay, checked. Slash, checked. Cowboy Bepop, checked. Ok, everything's fine. ;-)
