Should be working either on that untitled Wat/Kate fic, or on the third part of Crossed Destinies, but cannot bother. This is a muse-free period for me. Damn it. I'm just too tired. Dunno if it's a cold I have, or the allergies being back full force (but if that's the case, I never was that allergic to anything! /whine), but it's a pain. As is getting all the paperwork done in hopes that I'll get my passport in time to go to Iceland - but I seem to be all set now. Let's just cross fingers, people.
So, had fun with icons instead. Let my Stuart-love emerge in a couple of them (some of those shots are just beautiful), and of course one for the wonderful, fearful Puss. Oh, how I wish someone was whacky enough to have him and my favourite pirate Cap'n meet. If only for fun. I think they would work wonderfully together - once you get past the whole "completely different 'verses" problem, that is.
Am puzzled. Some of you may know already that for some reason, I keep obsessing over men with scars (don't think there ever was a scarred woman to catch my attention... hmm...). The latest occurence being my quite noticeable crush on Prince Edward in A Knight's Tale, played by James Purefoy; the one that started it all being my unhealthy fascination for Kronos in Highlander, played by Val Pelka. Point being, apart from those two, I can't for the life of me pinpoint any other. Please, people, help a poor girl out. Any characters with a scar (on their faces) you know I like/think I might like?
Tomorrow will probably be filled with packing. We're going on holiday on Saturday. Erquy, here I come! It's a small town in Brittany, I've been going there each year since I was a wee babe. Except for last year - which makes me feel as if I hadn't been there in forever. Cannot wait to show it all to
greenie_breizh, the good ol' port, the rocks, the beach, all of it! Will also be seeing Dadou there, yay! (Edouard, for you BR guys who have met him.) He's a very good friend I've met there every summer for a few years.
We'll be back in Rennes on the 5th of August. Won't have the internet in the meantime, so don't worry if you don't hear from me. Despite the Iceland-related stress, things are looking good for the near future. Erquy, then big party time in Rennes. Yay!

I'm sorry to say that Harry is everything but the type of scarred guy that gets me obsessed. It has to fit in with a somewhat rugged look. Now, it's not that I don't like him, I like him plenty. Just not the right way. Now, if Sirius had a scar, for example, (and I were okay with the actor playing him,) then *he* might enter. He's got the right kind of looks. Harry is just a kid with a scar. The guys I like - their scars are part of them. They give them something (besides headaches and visions). And more likely than not, taking it off would take some of their charm away - for me, at least.
Now, you should know me better. Jimjo is your weapon of choice. *gets Spankie the spatula out* You were saying something about spanking earlier? (People, don't ask. Just don't.)

Spankie, you said? I hope you're taking him/her/it (don't wanna risk it) to Erquy... ;) ;)

Harry's a nice character, but he's not... he's nice. So I think the problem isn't the goodness, but the niceness. In that sense of the word.
