The only way to get rid of a temptation

havenstar. I figured it was the perfect meme to do since I've recently reuploaded the whole of my icons for them to better fit my layout. Because I'm a freak like that, and I wanted a change.
1. Default:
Do I need to explain why? Because it sums me up pretty well. Both the addict and the writing.And the part where it's a cap from A Knight's Tale.
2. Oldest:
Since I recently redid most of my icons, yeah, I think that's the one. Boy Meets Boy, probably the first one I made after a Skids/Cyanide icon. It's Tybalt and Harley, and Tyb has that line about how he likes to blur the line when talking about art (or is it sex?). And Tyb fascinates me and how can such a simple comic be so hot dammit.
3. Newest:
I just did them all, actually. The first three are Veronica Mars, and demonstrate fairly clearly myobsession love for Logan. (And Weevil. And making Logan/Weevil jokes while watching.) Then you've got a Heath icon - amazing picture of him, but then again there are so many like that out there. Then it's all shadesofbrixton's fault: the two boys from Savage Garden. I love the picture too much not to icon it. Then it's George Clooney with freakish eyes, and then the Caesar twins, I was going through a picspam of them earlier and there are so many fascinating pictures of them, it's crazy. And, last but not least, Adrien Brody for President. I love this man.
4. Saddest:
So we've got "This is goodbye," which is Mik and Tyb's last kiss, and it's just so heartwrenching. Towards the end of the comic, obviously, and all the loose ends are being tied, and, well, this is goodbye, and the only kiss they share, and so different from all the kisses Tyb has stolen from Harley, because it's Mik, and that is serious, and real, and argh. (Yes, I love Tybalt more than anybody should. But he's Tybalt!)
Then it's a picture of Peter Wingfield hugging his knees to himself and, well, it's just the look of it. Same for the Heath icon, which I've keyworded "heath pierrot" because that's what he is, a Pierrot, and Pierrots have always struck me as tragic, not funny. And Clea Duvall, who just looks so melancholyand like she could use a good tumble to snap her out of her depressing musings.
5. Happiest:
Woohoo, lots of happies. First one's Aidan Gillen from Queer as Folk (UK, thank you), looking quite unlike Stuart but just so very cheerful. Common Rotation is amost synonymous with happy, as anybody that's listened to their music should know, because it's just so full of energy and life. Then it's Bradley Cooper and David Anders from Alias, looking ever so amused and it makes me want to tackle them and snuggle happily in between them two and laugh in front of whatever they wanna watch on telly with a few beers. There could be a tickle fight, too. Then it's Jake Gyllenhaal, and then Jason Lee, and don't you just wanna smile when you look at them? Very contagious, boys.
6. Angriest:
First one's Robbie Williams, being Robbie Williams, and mmmtattoos. Then is Sark from Alias (or really David Anders, but in my mind that's Sark, shut up), which is an icon I used to have in colour and just desaturated because I'm all with the black and white and I love it too much to stop using it. Just look at that face he makes. It's like a mix of Snape-Cox-Haldir "...who are you again and why do you think you have the right to even talk to me?".
7. Cutest:
First one's from some random ad I can't remember, just a nice good ol' boy cuddle and it makes me awww each time. Then's Jonny Wilkes (Robbie Williams' best mate, who also sings and acts, he's been on stage mostly) holding a baby and I don't know, I fell in love with this picture when I first saw it. (For the record? Jonny can actually outstage Robbie, as far as I'm concerned. And their alchemy outstages them both, and they know it, and play on it. Just sayin'.) And then Daniel and Darren are back because come on that's just too damn cute.
8. Sexiest:
So very hard to choose a limited number of pictures here. First one's Catherine Zeta-Jones' back and oh yeah. That definitely had to make the list. Just look at it, and the hint of a breast, and the way the dress is draped, it's just. Yeah. Then you have Eliza Dushku's hands looking absolutely sinful and like she's just waiting for us to go to start touching herself. Or maybe that's just my own particular fantasy. Then, those legs are Famke Jansen's, who has some of the sexiest pictures out there, available just a Google Image's search away. At last, a man! Jake Gyllenhaal, ladies and you menfolk, asking for his neck and jaw to be licked. And oh that hand of his. The next one's sexy in a slightly fucked up way, I'm very aware, because it's all intense and dark emotions and creepish, and it's David Tennant and Kelly Reilly in Look Back In Anger on stage. Then is Rupert Everett and do I need to add anything? I didn't think so. And, finally, naked guys getting it on, my slash icon.
9. Most humorous:
So I'm not much with the funny in my icons these days. First one's mostly funny if you've read Boy Meets Boy, otherwise it's mostly "wtf?", I suppose. But, yeah. Funny, and cute, and eeeeeh Gio/Tyb! And then it's Joss Whedon, and yeah, this picture was just begging for that caption, wasn't it.
10. Favorite ship: 
I'm putting the Gio/Tyb icon again because oh yeah, they deserve to be here, and I absolutely adore what Sandra K. did with them, how gradually she went about it, and how she ended up making it happen. Brilliant. Then, Jack/Sawyer from Lost, even though that ship of mine's started dying down slowly, along with my interest in the show. It saddens me greatly, because I was so much into both show and ship last season! But yeah, this year, not so much. I love every single pairing in Rome, including Lucius/Niobe, which could have been boring but which was made incredibly interesting and I love what they ended up doing with it. Then I'm only into Harry Lockhart/Gay Perry (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, people) as a friendship, but I still adore them, and so yeah. Here they are. Wash and Zoe - do I even need to say anything? It's not the pairing I'd first write about*cough*Mal/River*cough*, but I love them crazily. And, at last, Wat/Geoff (A Knight's Tale), which is completely thanks to shadesofbrixton and havenstar, without whose numerous, amazing fics I'd not have seen the light. Thanks, girls.

Knight, Pirates, Who and Firefly.
12. Most used:
Adrien Brody, because I love this picture, and those hands, and his clothes. Alan Tudyk, because this picture makes me want to climb onto his lap and introduce myself to his torso. You know, like kickass actor and random fangirl do. Jude, because... isn't it obvious. Plus, you know, Jude. Katherine Moennig, because she is the one character from The L-Word I have loved and lusted after with such intensity and constancy from the very beginning and up until now. Paul Bettany, because the way he smokes keeps making me want to smoke.
13. Favorite I've made:
Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, in a "fallen angel" way. I love the Drew Barrymore one because of the cropping and the diagonal of his arm and just, yeah. It's the composition I love. The Wash one - because I love the colour his hair is when you take away the colours surrounding it. Blond with the colours, reddish without.

Because I just learned that Gigi Edgley was going to MC Serenity Cubed, and so I am full of Gigi love. Yumyumyum and I can't wait to find out what she's like!

20. Do your icons make a statement about you? Well, I just redid a whole bunch of them to make them fit my layout more, and I guess the statement is: I like the pretty. A lot.
21. What fandom do you have the most icons of? Firefly, I think. VM (or really, Logan). Who.
22. What ship do you have the most icons of? I don't have several icons of just the one ship.
23. How do you categorize your icons? What, on LJ, when I upload them? I just upload them as the fancy takes me. Then when they're fandom-related I start the keywords with said fandom (or fandom initials). And when not, I tend to start with the first name of whoever's on them.
24. Are your icons made mostly by other users? Nope.
25. Do you make icons? Yes.
26. Are they any good? Better than they used to be, is all I'm gonna say about them.
27. Animated icons are: way too much of a bother for me to make on a regular basis. Once in a while, though. But my latest icon tastes are to have them simple, even bare, not even any text. So animated don't really cut it. They can be wicked, though, I've seen some brilliant ones.
28. In general you think icons are: an addiction. And I love how people manage to condense so much pretty, or so much funny, or so much *insert emotion here* into a 100x100 square.
