Better than rain or rippling brook...

Sometimes it's good to be a teacher. About five minutes before the end of their lessons, I told one of my classes of year 10 that I love that it was my last lesson with them, and I thanked them for having been so nice to teach. They all "awww"ed and thanked me too and a couple even clapped, but what really touched me is... There's this couple of girls in the front row, moshers both of them, rather weak in French actually... I always really liked them, for some reason (which probably starts with, they're moshers). And one of them actually really quickly made that little box out of a sheet of paper and wrote at the bottom "bye bye, good luck, thank u." It's so adorable and breaking my heart about leaving, especially coming from her. Because moshers aren't into emotional stuff or anything, you know? Anyway. That class is such a lovely bunch.
