Supernatural oh god oh dudes. I did not realise how much I had missed this show, especially since the season finale was a big letdown. But this? AWESOME. Jared still can't always act and I don't like the new actress for Ruby AT ALL, but Bobby's here and Dean's the same as ever and CALIEL. Dudes. An angel, old testament style, and I cannot WAIT. This is the end, indeed.
Kripke, don't screw this up.
True Blood, well. I'm really getting into it. Sookie is seriously growing on me, and so's Bill, and it's all thanks to Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. Malcolm only had to mention Eric's name and I was squeeing. I'm a sad fangirl of a character I don't even know yet.
I don't know, there's just something very endearing with this show, which I think is tied in with what Alan Ball's been saying since the beginning: that it's a show about small Southern towns. And even if your first instinct is not to like those towns, then you spend some time in them and you just start loving them despite yourself. I love Lafayette and I love Sam, Terra's fun and Jason is such a dork, oh my god. He scares me. He's such an intolerant little bastard and I commend the author for having dared to write such a character without villefying him. ...I'm gonna stop ranting while I'm ahead, since next week is ERIC WEEK and there will be a lot of incoherent babbling then.
Sons of Anarchy: this show is just good. It's not OMGWOW, it's just good. Charlie Hunnam is an excellent actor, and he's not the only one. I do always love to see Ron Perlman. But Charlie, man. He's awesome, and the accent's good (I find), and just, yeah. It's a good show. It's well worth the watch.
The Sarah Connor Chronicles, I've only seen the first two eps, but I really liked them. Cameron is simply awesome, and even though I miss John's hair, I love that they're taking him further in the direction he needs to go to be able to face the future. There are so many strong women in that show, and the men are good characters as well. Way to go. I'm really hoping they just keep being better and better, and don't lose their drive.
Dexter I was kind of 'so what?' with. It was good, but it was very expected, very déjà-vu. Apart from the bit at the funeral where I suddenly wanted to slash the Jimmy Smits character and Dexter. Wtf, me. It was the way Jimmy Smits kept looking at Dexter. There was something there. It touched me. I don't know.
Heroes, well, Angela for the win, Hiro for the lose, Mohinder and Maya for the super-lose, and two seconds of Adam for the extra win. I'm also digging future!Peter, because Angela's right about him. Not sure about Nathan. Noah owns me. And Elle is gonna be a loose cannon now woohoo!
But seriously, these two seconds of Adam. Standing next to Nikki/Tracy/Jessica/whoever, they looked like siblings, I very very very much enjoyed that shot. Also because it means he is in the future, supposedly, and is not going to die of old age like we were afraid of. Right? Right. Adaaaam. Heee.
And oh god Sylar for the win, too. I love that he let Claire live. He could've cut off her head, but he's never been about killing people, it's just that they happened to die when he took their powers. Just a side effect. Oh, how I love him. To bits and pieces.
Should be watching more SCC tonight, as well as the first episode of the Mentalist. Got a customer who is one, too! Mentalist. I told him he had to show me next time, this time I was bartending and he was at a table. I'm sort of weirded out at the thought, it's a sort of magic that really unsettles you, you know? I hope I see him again soon, I'm very much looking forward to it.
