One of the most gorgeous things, which I absolutely saw coming but which was perfectly in character, is the fact that he went straight for the cuninlingus.
On the tail of Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams' throw-back at the MPAA for giving their film Blue Valentine an NC-17 rating (party) because it showed a woman receiving oral sex, I was really, really happy when I watched that scene. Of course, it will never appear in the (inevitable) US remake.
I share your suspicion that future!Simon is probably going to die in past. But I hope he succeeds in saving Alisha from whatever took her in his version of the past.
Iwan was so pale he looked like an alien. Or a sparkly vampire. It was freaking me out a little. :)
