Same here. Though "tolerant" would be a nice way to put it. Most of the time I wished they'd never brought him back, because precisely, I loved him on Buffy, and he seemed to serve no point in Angel but trying to get them more viewers.
But then again, once in a while he had a good, real Spike moment, and that made it better.
So I either wanted him dead dust or loved him. ;)
And yeah, same here with the not so on board with it. I'd never even heard about it before, but the interviewer made it sound like people have been talking about it for a while.
