Gakked from the very talented [livejournal.com profile] yahtzee63, iTunes talks about me. In very mysterious ways, sometimes.

Question: What do you think of me, iTunes?
Answer: The Rolling People, The Verve

Yes, I'm sure. Especially the part where I'm a dealer.

Question: Will I have a happy life?
Answer: New Born, Muse

This isn't really good, is it? How about I just focus on the title and thinks it means yes?

Question: What do my friends really think of me?
Answer: Tired, K's Choice

So either they are tired of me, or they basically think I'm faking my happiness. Huh.

Question: Do people secretly lust after me?
Answer: Jenny, the Killers

I'm gonna take that as a yes. (Or as "Brandon Flowers does." Heee!)

Question: What should I do with my life?
Answer: Babylon, David Gray

The chorus says "If you want it, come and get it, crying out loud, The love that I was giving you was never in doubt, Let go your heart, let go your head, and feel it now." The song's pretty much about that guy craving for that other person, and feeling ever so lonely and stuff. Yeah. I'm sure unrequited love is the way to go for me.

Unless it means I should go to Babylon, but given how well it worked out for a certain Carnival, I think I might just pass.

Question: Why must life be so full of pain?
Answer: The Golden Age, Beck

"It's a treacherous road with a desolated view, there's distant lights but here they're far and few, and the sun don't shine even when its day, you gotta drive all night just to feel like you're ok... These days I barely get by." So all with the pain, sure, but no reason at all! iTunes, you're not helping!

Question: How can I maximize my pleasure during sex?
Answer: Believe Me Natalie, The Killers

I think iTunes has something for the Killers today. And I think it's telling me I should just have sex because "the time is now." Unless the answer is " there is an old cliche under your Monet, baby, remember the arch of roses right above your couch," except clichés? Not exactly my idea of a turn-on. Else I should find myself someone called Natalie... which is one of my middle names. Does it mean I should masturbate? I have a girlfriend, mate. I don't need to masturbate.

Question: Will I ever have children?
Answer: Under Your Spell, Amber Benson

I really don't know how to interpret that one. No, because I'll die from a gunshot wound?

Question: Will I die happy?
Answer: Everybody's changing, Keane

I'm taking that as a no. Dammit. Though if I die from above-mentioned gunshot wound I bet I won't be happy. Cut down in the prime of my life and all! (And incidentally, I love this song.)

Question: Can you give me some advice?
Answer: Holiday, Green Day

I wish this was telling me to go on a holidays. Except not. It's more telling me to be politically active, I suppose, and I leave that to Joey. She does it better than me.

Question: What do you think happiness is?
Answer: Better Luck, the Scissor Sisters

So happiness is being with somebody makes you feel so good, except it seems not to be working out? Or maybe it's a "keep trying" sort of thing, "just keep on living," with which I can only heartfully agree.

Question: What's my favorite fetish?
Answer: Aces High, Iron Maiden

Well, a world of no. War is not a fetish of mine. Joss knows I have a lot, but no, not that one. (Nor games of cards.)

Question: Am I a complete freak?
Answer: Speak of the Devil - Chris Isaak

Heh.

Ok, and now with the actual pointy things. Saw A History of Violence and was completely blown away. Viggo Mortensen was absolutely amazing. I mean, seriously. That man can act. And the film itself was fascinating, so many things said in silences, and so real too. The character of the son I particularly liked and felt for. He made me feel more than Viggo's character, actually. In terms of "how far are you willing to go for your family." And that ending, oh that ending.

Also saw Red Eye, and thank Joss for Cillian otherwise I would have really wondered what the point was. The script was so expected, from beginning to end, no subtleties, nothing. That said, Rachel - McAdams, is it? - is very cute. And makes me think of Neve Campbell. Except I like Neve Campbell better.

As for Ralph, also very expected. It's good on the emotions, but there was nothing surprising about it. In the case of both these movies, it was all in the trailers.

That said, also saw Beetlejuice, which means I've finally seen all of dear Tim's movies. I think BJ's my least favourite. It shows that it was just the beginning for him. Although Michael Keaton was impressive! Wow.

And finally, Lost 2x06, for which I'd been spoiled. Bored bored bored, Analucia and Echo, bored bored bored, Sawyer and Michael and Jin, bored bored bored. Seriously. I lust after Sayid with a firey passion, except this time? Nothing. And Shannon was boring, and usually I love her. I'm very put out with this episode. I think by now I just wanna learn more about the others, and I don't just mean Ana and Echo, also Bernard and what's-her-name. And Jin and Sawyer and Michael I still really like and find interest with (me cursing at Mike at the beginning? it shows I still feel, which is more than I can say for some of the others. *cough*Charlie!*cough*).

That said, next week Jack should finally tend to Sawyer's wound. Thank the gods.
