There can never be enough bare-armed Wash, especially in that tank top. Mmmshoulders. Also, that look of caring on his face. It says "you're kinda stupid but we love you anyway... why?"

Yes, the hip thing! And how that shirt stretches over his chest. That posture screams sex me please now. The boyishness, perfect. That con with the red elf chick, that preppy look killed me and his eyes are way too blue when he wears all that blue. His dark red hair drives me wild. I think it might be his natural color? His collarbone and shoulders are the most lickable and biteable things and oh that is precisely what Kaylee is thinking! Costar love is love. Crinkly-eyed grinning is love. Wat is total fantasy love. And that one of him and Nathan is so garsh-shucks-CUTE I could die.

*dies* We need to make this a new holiday. Bank holiday, even, so we can spend the day tracking down pictures and putting up Alan shrines all over LJ. This morning I woke up to shadesofbrixton giving me a link to your picspam, and didn't have and still haven't had the time to comment, but god what a wonderful thing to wake up to! Plus, there were a couple pictures I didn't know! (Aaaawww that one from Flan with his hair all ruffled and his shirt open a bit like he was just back from being tugged into a broom closet and snogged to within an inch of his life!)

Sex me please now is exactly it. *tackles* is my initial urge, each and every time I see it. And oh god that one with the 'red elf chick' was FX Con and ah, I know, I adore it sososo badly (and for the record? he changed, because during the signing he was all geekboy look with a long-sleeve shirt and a Serenity t-shirt on top, and that was at night and how cute is it that he'd actually change, and into this at that because god I love both looks so much). Next time I see him, if I have the guts I'm asking him what his natural colour is, 'cause I wanna know, dammit! The one with Nathan made me squee at the cute the first time.

The one from Flan, too, you mean? I love that shirt. I saw the first Flan pics and zeroed in on it and went "eeeep! Alan can dress well!" And then, next day, leather jacket. Me = ded. The longest I've ever spoken with him he wasn't dressed classy. All through the Serenity con he was dressed much more casual. Shirt thrown over a t-shirt kinda thing, you know. ...I can't wait for Collectormania gaaaaaah.

I know, I know, it's totally the body. Completely and totally the body. Face-wise, he's not that good at doing sexy. I like him best when he's being natural, anyway - that picture from FX with the v-neck still makes me lust like nobody's business. That sweater looks far too good on him. Accentuates the shoulders and oh god yes forearms heee! (...and cellphone, yes.)

As for the sleevelessness, yes. I've gotten completely obsessed with seeing Wash's arms, and I'm not ashamed of myself one bit!

And I know about the clean feet! I'm kinda disappointed in Alan, that he wouldn't go as far as get his feet purposefully dirty for that part. Tch. Kinda makes you wanna write a "washing" fic, doesn't it? Just to give it some sort of significance. Not unlike some rings.

OMG Alan picspam #2 in two days. I can hardly think coherently! Thank you for this, and I'd just like to second everything everyone else has already said in the comments: blue eyes, hip thing, v-neck sweater, crinkly eyes, hands, feet, cute and sexy, and all the rest. And I'll just add that I think maybe the reason he doesn't do "face sexy" all that well is that he's a rather modest guy who doesn't think he's all that good looking, if I were guessing, which I totally am.

If I were guessing, which I totally am, I'd totally agree with you. I was just watching the commentary to War Stories earlier today, and with the whole open-shirt thing, he just seems to be the kind of guy who's very realistic about his looks. He doesn't think he's all that sexy, and he's fine with it.
