Oh god. They could both be excellent professors, christ, way to get it dead on, you random meme-quiz thing. Except really I think Geoff would make a better professor, because Methos probably wouldn't have enough patience to put up with the not-too-smart kids. ...granted, he did put up with McLeod, but hey. Geoff puts up with Wat. Who, much as I love him, can be thick. His brains aren't made for academic purposes. Methos switches to mean-sarcastic-bastard too easily.

Yes, he's hot. So hot he'll seduce almost any male, female, or any other gender of whatever species comes at him. ...but I'm not that attracted to him. I swear! It boggles the mind, because Jack is everything I should be attracted to, but I'd only want to shag him because hell, he'd be a good shag. That much experience? And he's Jack, he's got a way of focusing on you. So it's got next to nothing to do with the hotness. More like who he is. But yeah, it doesn't hurt that he's hot.
3. 12 sends 8 on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed? (Dana sends Nine on a mission)
...oh god. What could Dana possibly want from a Timelord? Okay, so there's the usual time madness with Rose and Nine, and Dana's involved. Dana's a shell of the one we know and love, and she works on some stupid fishing show she could care less about. She realises they can travel through time. And asks Nine for a hell of a favour. To go back in time and warn herself, back then, not to get involved with Casey. Because everything went downhill from there, and that's why Sports Night crashed, they got seriously involved and then things went belly-up between the two of them and the show didn't survive.
It fails. Because Nine won't do something like that, because it means interfering and you never know what might happen, except Rose is touched and goes and warns previous-Dana except Dana certainly isn't gonna take the word of that completely batshit crazy British blonde. So Rose shows her the TARDIS, and convinces her it's real, and says that no Dana may certainly not use it to know who would win this or that championship, and the point is you can't start dating Casey okay?
But it fails all the same, because Dana wouldn't let something like "the future" influence her decision. Except it doesn't actually fail! But they think it has, because she tells them that, that she'll make her own decisions and that's that. But then after they've gone she comes to realise that the show means more to her than anything else, including getting in a relationship with Casey, and she doesn't really believe their story, but there's a tiny chance dating Casey could ruin Sports Night, and so she doesn't.
...I almost wanna write a fic now.

"On How Best To Perfect The Art Of Appearing Snotty In All Situations." Or maybe "Of the Greatest Marchwardens of Arda, A Martial Approach to Serving Lothlórien."

...I might be dead from the laughing. River and Geoff? One swearing fealty to the other? Hmm. Okay. Well, clearly, Geoff, because he says all kinds of crazy stuff all the time. ...yeah, okay, I know, so does River, but it's not the same crazy. Geoff would mock-swear fealty sooner than her.
6. For some reason, 5 is looking for a roommate. Should he share a studio apartment with 9 or with 10? (Wash, with Haldir or Lucius)
Oh my. Erm. Well, what with how Lucius is an evil bastard, Haldir, obviously. And oh, the fun of Wash driving Haldir slowly crazy. And then Haldir would grow to like him and they'd get into this sort of weird friendship where Haldir keeps professing his irritation at Wash and Wash would be all "when you say 'I loathe you' all I hear is 'I love you in a friendly, manly manner'" and Haldir would protest the use of "manly" and Wash would retort that using "Elvish" there would make it all sound a bit sly and oooooooh I would love that. Wash/Haldir banter yay!
7. 2, 7 and 12 have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss? (River, Norri, and Dana)
...none of them even lives in the same century. So clearly they go and have dinner in some neutral timeless restaurant (ooooer the restaurant at the end of the universe?) and discuss cricket. Because.
And James has no clue what to do with those two liberated women at first, but give him thirty minutes and he'll have started liking Dana because he does respect strong women, and by the end of the meal he might even have got used to River. She grows on people like that.
Dana would still think River's a total nutcase, though.
And River would totally adore Norri. And have fun pushing both his and Dana's buttons. Especially Dana's.

Oh, my god. Gene pitted against Lucius? It would totally be a "sheer force against cunning malice" fight. If Gene manages to get Lucius's wand-cane away from him, he wins. But he needs to get it away from him before Lucius cruciato'es him. Tough one.

Let's see. Logan would have stolen Nine's key to the TARDIS (no, Rose doesn't qualify as Nine's most precious possession, she's a person). Nine would storm off after him, to bully it back from him, but he'd fail, because Logan's Logan and Nine won't use violence. When I say 'bully' I mean verbally. And Rose would have to intervene, and go charm the key out of Logan's hands. And that would work. Heee! ...somebody write that for me? Please? Nobody? Damn.

River wouldn't choose sides on account of who she likes best, she'd choose sides on account of who is right. She probably wouldn't choose sides at all, actually, because she'd see it, feel it all, and see both their sides so clearly and just couldn't, couldn't choose.

Though melancholy isn't the right word for it. More like bipolarity.

I won't, actually, write that fic, although I like this semblance of a plot. Right down my alley in the bittersweet/sacrifices/suffering-love-in-silence area I love to write in.

You weren't that far off. ;) Alan's character from AKT would have totally gotten that thing over Dana, because it's food, and Wat cares a lot about food. Now, saying that I, Robot isn't the best movie ever is being extremely nice to this movie. But, Alan. And how much work he put into this part. Alan, my acting hero.
RPS. ...okay. Real Person Slash. You know slash, right? Well instead of writing it between characters, you write it between actors. For instance. Celebs. I once swore I'd never enjoy it. And then a friend recommended Billy's Best series, which is an amazing Billy Boy (Billyyyyyy)/Orlando Bloom fic, and that was my first step on the road that is RPS.
