Well... It was quite short, but I guess his face when someone at the pub handed me a wrapped present was kinda worth it. Later, he claimed he had actually thought about a present for me, but just totally forgot the date and wasn't even sure I ever mentionned it. Because my birthdate is so difficult to remember, ain't it?
Now.... I'm not sure seeing his face at that moment was worth getting that present. A stuffed animal. What's up with guys giving me stuffed animals for my birthdays??? Anyway, at first it looked all cute and nice and... But later, Christophe mentionned that from the guy who gave it to me, it may almost be the equivalent of a declaration. That he never saw him going that far with a girl. I'm still hoping he was just kidding me (but then, it unfortunately sounds believable. Not that this guy could fall for me, but that giving such a present is a very rare and meaningful event for him. He is the one guy to be proud of being a virgin and not being interested in sex&co), 'cos at that point I just felt like hitting walls with my head. I just can't believe how things turned, it's so fucking not right and it makes no sense whatsoever. I'm almost thankful for Y. to have decided to skip social SF events, otherwise last mondays could have been even more complex. Three guys hitting on me (more or less discretly) and two who achieved more.... Well, it still was 3/1, that's already WAY too much. Something turned wrong in the grand sheme of things, really.
