fan_eluneYay! First gay marriage in France today... which will last two days. It'll get cancelled on Monday. But hey, it's a first step. I hope these guys enjoy those two days, and don't get too depressed when it's cancelled. They're married in the way that matters anyway. As for the mayor who performed the wedding (Noel Mamere), he can be either suspended for a month, or revoked (and non-eligeable for a year). I wonder whether they will risk turning him into a martyr.
On a side note, spiders (and most especially daddy long legs) are absolutely evil, and I'm positive I could not move to Mirkwood if Legolas and Thranduil begged me to. I think even David Anders with some blackcurrant sorbet wouldn't manage to convince me.
