Seriously. Does anybody fucking care about whether Meredith is going to go for Derek or Finn? Seriously?

This is Wash-like sobbing. Denny was amazing. Beautifully written and oh dear gods I'm almost afraid of watching SPN again now because I hadn't liked Papa Winchester very much the first time around but now, now, how can I not, Jeffrey played him so wonderfully and he was so charming and that drawl and that smile and that sense of humour, that strength, that spirit.

Oh, Denny.

And Katherine was amazing, blew me away whenever she broke down, and Alex, oh, Alex, and it was just so so so heartwrenching and I cannot, I cannot care about Meredith's bloody love life.

Yes, you saw it coming from miles away, of course something was going to go wrong because it was going too well and I knew it, dramatically, of course it was the right thing to do, but it was Denny and she said yes and part of me was in heavy denial, picturing next season, he could always have heart problems again next season, after they were married and had had some happy times, had had sex, had seen each other outside of the hospital, had loved and fought and made up like every couple. I wanted them to get some time, desperately so.

And the grief, oh, Izzie's grief, and Alex being the one to take her away from his corpse, his fucking corpse, lifeless, no spirit, no wide grin or heavy twang to slurred words, and cold, hands back to being cold, and her guilt and oh, her confession, and how they killed me.

Izzie and Denny have utterly won me over. While I still adore Cristina and Burke, while I still love Alex no matter how much of an ass he's being, Izzie and Denny are just. It.

They made me sob like Wash. And for that, I thank them.

I've been going back and forth on Meredith. But some characters I never had to, because I always loved them, and those are... pretty much everybody but her.
