fan_eluneHave been refraining from drooling over the hottest Orlando Bloom pictures - the guy usually ain't my cuppa tea, but this here... wowowowow. Straight hair looks good on him.
That being said, and all potential drool put aside, today's been another very productive day for FoF. Before I started writing it, I'd resigned myself to the fact that nobody but me would ever call my dear Theodore Sinclair Groves Sin. And now... Jack's done it. Of course Jack would do it! It's so very Jack to call an officer of the Royal Navy... Sin. It's perfect. Also wrote a bit of good ol' Will and Elizabeth Turner in... Hadn't seen those pics of Orlando when I did, though, I suspect it would have given the scene a whole other undercurrent.
Have decided to stop torturing myself about the "when the hell does Pirates take place?" problem. Since I need for other pirates to be still active for this story, it happens in the 1720s. I don't care about Jack's pistol or some of James' uniforms. The 1720s it is.
All in all, am very happy with the way this story is shaping up. It's got more Sin than I expected it to, and writing Jack is a true delight. And I'm *not* going to list all the other characters it's a delight to write (starting with Commodore James himself), because that would just be naming all characters from the movie. Rather pointless, don't you think? And my OC William is coming off quite nicely, too, although dear, dear Will hasn't had his big scene yet, just cameos.
To think that I should have spent the day studying...
