Oh, my god, DARREN.

Things I didn't like so much:
- CHAIRS. There were seats. We couldn't dance properly. What the fuck!
- The giant swan. What was up with that? Pretty, but encumbering.
- He didn't do Bombs up in my face.
- He doesn't like Paris! Sadface!

Things I liked:
- He doesn't like Paris Hilton! Right on!
- DARREN.
- it was the Royal Albert Hall, dudes.
- Justin.
- the Indian-looking backup singer.

- a disco version of Pop!ular. I swear.
- the most perfectest choreography on Neverland oh god. Very childlike and creepy and perfect.

- Insatiable. Beautiful, instead of hot.
- The Tension and the Spark, just him and a guitar. It was hot, and sexy, and dark, and perfect.
- DARREN.
- His accent.
- His outfit.
- His outfit for the encores? Even more.

- How much he likes his musicians and backup singers and what-not.
- His little spins on himself during Pop!ular.
- HIS HIPS and the way he moved them.
- His voice.
- the choreography on The Future Holds A Lion's Heart, which a certain someone is so going to make me learn when videos hit YouTube.
- Darkness. Mhmmmmmmm. Made for slow dirty dancing.

lol, ignore the crankiness of Noëlle. Yeah, nobody in France knows him. Savage Garden was I Want You, and Truly Madly Deeply, and Crash and Burn and all those songs. Affirmation? Affirmation is awesome. Anyway, he's wonderful and does great pop music and came out and was then ditched by his record company and is now self-produced, I think. Married to an Englishman. HE IS SO WONDERFUL.

I'm so jealous, because you know, in France, Darren Hayes is still not famous, still considered as this has-been boys band's singer, and even if I can hear some of his songs in the shopping center where I work (and I wonder why, since I think he his not on radios, except if I don't listen to the right ones), I can't believe he's having so much success abroad and that he his so popular amongst you (being you and Alexia, basically). So yeah, I'm jalous that I can't really become fan of him again because nobody else would understand.

I really need to get some of his albums.
Alexia, I need your help : I've been looking on Amazon, but I don't know what to choose, and I'm wondering if there's some albums only available in Australia that you could bring me back if you still have some space in your luggage ? Or maybe Amazon will be enough. (Sorry Fan' for all of this)

lol, I know, he keeps being played on some of our playlists at the bar and I'm always the only one to know the songs and love them. Hee! That so won't prevent me from adoring him, anyway.

As far as albums go, I recommend The Tension and the Spark, which is just so fucking good it's insane, and his latest, double album, This Delicate Thing We've Made. Spin is nice but only if you like the really cheery pop tunes. Tension is darker, and Delicate is just something different and awesome and just. Yeah. GO GET 'EM. Heee.

I don't understand, his new album is This Delicate Thing(...), and On the Verge(...) is only the title of the song isn't it ? I really am lost with all these songs and albums, he worked a lot during these years I wasn't listening to him ! On Amazon, they only have This Delicate Thing, for the other albums it's secondhand. So I think I'd like to buy this one on Amazon, and since I also need a book, I'll buy them together. But if you could find The Tension and the Spark for me, that would be cool. Because if I buy it on Amazon, I'll have to pay the shipping twice anyway. So if you find it for less than 15€, I'll be interested. Thanks !

Yes, the album is This delicate thing we've made, and the main song is On the verge of something wonderful (he likes long titles apparently...).
His first album solo was Spin, and the second one was The tension and the spark (ou inversement...). I'll see for TTATS, but it didn't do well here so I don't think it's still sold in stores, but I'll have a look!

I'm so excited, I'm gonna see him on the 17th!!! I really like Neverland, can't wait to see the choreography. I really don't like Bombs up in my face though, so I'm glad he's not singing this one. ;) Same for Me Myself and I, don't really like it. I loooooove Sing to me though. Did he sing it? Wait no don't tell me, I don't wanna be spoiled.

Haven't read BMB in ages! Actually makes me wanna read it again. I still have the tshirt you gave me! And yep "wheeeee I'm naked" will always be one of my favorite quotes. :)
