Steve knows he's not a pirate, now.
The occasional "yarr!" still slips out. And yet he's changed his voicemail message to something more accepted than that.
Sometimes on the weekends, he dresses up in his old clothes. But he's got to wear a wig over his short hair.
When he's invited to costume parties, his instinct is to dress normally. He always ends up declining those invites.
Steve knows he's not a pirate now, and he's still not sure whether it's thanks to Peter, or because of him.
