HELP!

We're looking for the name of a toy we used to have when we were little. It's apparently called a ball hop in English - not to be confused with the hop ball, aka space hopper. But no, ball hop. Those balls, attached to a plastic stem, and there was a ring in which you put your ankle. Then you just swung it round in circles and had to hop over with each circle.

Does anybody French remember this and know what it was called? PLEAAAAAAAAASE. We've been going through online toy catalogues and not finding what we wanted. Ack!

We called them Skip-It in the US, if that helps any.

...there was a theme song?

Also do you remember that toy with a ball hop that was like, in the middle of a flat round plastic thing? Like, it kinda looked like Saturn or something? And you just stuck your feet on the plastic plane, against the ball, and hopped?

Oh! Yes! I mean, I remember it, but I can't remember what it was called. Just that it smelled like industrial rubber.

Yeah, work is still slow.

*ponders* Mine looked a lot more uh... ghetto than that. For lack of a better word. Like, made out of kickball material, you know? The cross-hatched stuff. That's probably as close as we're gonna get, though.

....I always wanted moon shoes.

In the States, we had something called a Skip It, which sounds very much the same.

A Skip-It, Brix was right. That's what we called it when we were young, anyway. Not that we had any clue what "Skip-it" meant. Mind you, this could come in handy some day! It's all about vocabulary. ;)
