Public Service Announcement re: The Fades

fan_eluneMy mind is still reeling a little, and I don't even know where to begin. Okay, maybe with a disclaimer: it's got lots of violence and if you're no good with horror movies, it isn't for you.
But it is so so so fantastic. There's a Skins-like or Misfits-like aspect of the show, and there's a Supernatural-like aspect, asthe_grynne pointed out, especially when it comes to Castiel and the angels and that whole theme of this is a fine line we angels tread. It is really, really creepy at times, the actors are all excellent (and I counted three Skins alumni, for any other Skins fans out there - including Joe Dempsie), and I am having All The Thoughts about it, ever, which makes it hard to talk very rationally 'cause All The Thoughts at once is a bit much to order.
But if you're looking for a short series that will make you scared, make you care, and make you think, this is it.
In other British telly news, I can't quite believe I managed to watch Hustle to the end, but I did, and it was worth it to see that happening, even if it was obviously coming. And I know who I kept watching for: Ash, and all the amazing guest stars.
And in random I-must-crosspost-this-everywhere news: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Race!Swap Cast. All of their choices are not ideal, and a lot of them are too pretty imho, but keep reading if only because the best casting choice of the lot is the very last.
