fan_eluneGood day today. I saw Alex again, yay. I miss talking to him. He said Ced and he would try to visit me in December, probably. I'd love that. Also, we talked muchly of Firefly. There's a con in London, end April beginning of May, I really want to go. I don't know. They already have Alan, Morena and Jewel announced, and Nathan and Summer rumoured. I wanna go! I'll see about that. Also, I very much hope Serenity will be out in the theatres in England while I'm over there.
It was so random. On my way to Alex's, I ran into a friend from high school I hadn't seen in a couple of years. I used to have such a crush on him, of quite gigantic proportions. Then I realised how much of a jerk he was, we had sort of a fight about non-related stuff (it was about a play we wanted to put on and let me not bore you with the details), and we grew distant, even more so after high school was over. But it was plain nice to spend a few minutes talking to him in the street like that, catching up very quickly. Weird, the things people remember about you - he actually remarked that I still wore the tribal pendant I've been wearing since eleventh grade, when we met. We used to be quite close, he and I. But people come and go, it's just... It feels like this was closure or something. Just seeing him and not harbouring any resentment any longer.
