So Equilibrium was a piece of fun, and I love Christian Bale. Although he's really not my type (I was more into Taye Diggs, sorry). Also, I loved Sean Bean, for what little we saw him. That way he has to deliver lines... *shivers*

James Purefoy - A Knight's Tale/Chevalier, c'était le charmant prince Edward, avec plus de nobilité dans son petit doigt que la majorité des acteurs que j'ai déjà vu jouer de la royauté (et qui plus est, une charmante cicatrice en croix sur la joue). Egalement plus récemment dans Vanity Fair, toujours aussi magnétique. Mon choix personnel pour le prochain James Bond.
Carlos Bernard - Tony Almeida dans 24.
Naveen Andrews - Sayid dans Lost.
Jack Davenport - vu entre autres dans Ultraviolet (la série britannique) ou Mr Ripley, et de façon nettement plus célèbre le Commodore Norrington dans Pirates.
Quant à Mia Maestro, c'est un nouvel ajout au cast d'Alias.

Christian Bale is definitely *my* type! I've been crazy about him since I first saw him in Treasure Island. I'm such a cradle-robber.

Having him and Sean Bean in the same scene was enough to melt my joints.

At the time I saw this movie, I didn't know who Taye was, although he impressed me enough to remember his name. Now that I'm into Wicked, of course, I know him!

btw, and totally off the wall, Equilibrium had a bit part for an obscure actor I really like, Sean Pertwee. If anyone on earth knows this guy besides me, it'll be you. :)

*grins* No, the one I've always been crazy about in Treasure Island - though it was out of the book, not the cartoon or any of the films - was Long John Silver. I always adored that character, even when I was young.

Wicked? What's that?

Well see, that's the oddest thing. I saw the face and thought "I know him." I saw the name and thought "I definitely know him." Except I've checked his filmography, and I really don't! Although he's played in movies with Clive Owen and Jack Davenport, which I must now definitely see. (Respectively Chancer and the Tale of the Mummy. You seen them? They any good?)

Long John Silver is by far the most *interesting* character in TI, but he's never been the prettiest. Bale at 15 was simply lovely. /slaps self

Wicked is a musical, an *amazing* musical, about the background of the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz. The original star was Idina Menzel, Taye's wife.

I got introduced to Pertwee (who, btw, is the son of the 3rd Doctor Who, if you know who I mean) through PBS Mystery, specifically the first season of the Cadfael series. I haven't seen either of those movies, although the latter is on my Netflix queue. I'll have to add Chancer, too! The only other thing I've seen him in is Event Horizon.

Hmm. I saw that version again last year, or two years ago I believe... Quite recently anyway. And he really didn't strike me, I must really not be receptive to his type of beauty.

The idea of seeing Taye on stage, in a musical, is... very enticing. To say the least. That must be amazing!

Oh, that might be why I thought I knew the name. I've heard or read the names of the previous Doctors many times. Still doesn't explain why I felt like I knew the face in the first place.

I'll go have a look when I have more time! I should be packing right now, bad me.
