So I'm getting my hands on Highlander episodes for old time's sake, and watching Methos (yes, I admit, I'm only after the Methos episodes, and do you have any idea how much I can't wait for the Modern Prometheus although my inner Damien will likely go into repress-y mode big time when I watch it).

And I'm trying hard to figure why anybody would care about Richie and his racing. Seriously. Especially when I'm still waiting to see Methos. 25 minutes in. But Joe just told Mac about Adam Pierson, so after one more annoying racing Richie scene, we might just get to him. Yay!

Oh, no, my bad. More Kallas flashbacks first. *waits*

EDIT: Methos HEEEEE! (Yes, I'm a fangirl. So sue me.) Sitting on the floor by his bed pouring over a gigantrous book with a walkman on (ah, walkmans...) and looking oh so grad student like and then spraaaawling for Macleod oh yeah. *licks up his neck* I MISSED HIM. And the beer!

EDIT 2: Seriously, the fuck do we care about bike racing? That said, I'd forgotten how delicious-looking Peter Wingfield's neck was. That's an Adam's apple needs teeth-grazing on, that is.

...it's making me want to write again. Maybe I should dig up that HL fic I've been working on for a while now. It's nowhere near done, but it deserves to be done. All about Damien and Sin and there's an OFC who is not a Sue and there's Joe and Amanda and Mac and Richie and I might bring Methos in towards the end. Maybe. If I get to the end.

Hee! I don't actually hate him. Used to, before I wrote him. I can't write a character and keep on hating him. But they give him stupid storylines and what do we care, honestly. It's really because of what the writers have in store for him.

Watching Finale, now, which means Amanda goodness! Back when she was still a lovely character. (And had long hair.) "Patience, my friend," a guy in a flashback just said. I think he was talking to me about Methos, because I can't wait for him to be back.

And oh, god, Mac's Scottish accent.

I'll gladly leave all of Mac to you, including the Scottish accent. Never liked him all that much. I'd much rather get a Methos and a Byron. (Why yes the two of them at once why?)

Hee! And I would have the whole of one reader. Which is a hell of a lot better than nothing. I've reread what I've got so far, and Byron might just have spurred me to write on. We'll see.

I've also been wondering how Methos would have reacted if Byron had won that duel against Mac. What do you think?
