This oh so brilliant quote is Hugh Grant, during an interview by a French team about Love Actually. Guy can be a cutie, I'll give you that, even though I'm no big fan.

There's a huge chunk of you out there whose LJs I read every day - but in a lot of cases, I don't know how old a lot of you are, or where you live, or basic, normal things. Like your shoe size or your favorite smurf (schtroumphs for our french friends).
So let's rectify that.
I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me (or even something you shouldn't, I'm not picky). I promise, I will not make fun of you, or say who asked what (even if basically everybody will see who asked what).
I then invite you to do the same (i.e not make fun of me, come on you're not even trying). Remember, serious, basic, stupid and/or kinky questions, don't be embarrassed, you would be really shocked what I don't know about you. (though you would be equally surprised by what I do know ;)
So come on, people, fire away!

Date: 2004-07-17 02:54 pm (UTC)Scarves. Most definitely scarves.
Death by drowning or cold?
Wouldn't know, didn't try any. I *guess* drowning... but I'll probably have changed my mind in the next few minutes. Should talk to my physician about it. ;)
The Self or the Couple?
As in... what? What's the more important? Since the Couple can't work without the two Selves working to start with, I'd say the Self.
Ring finger size?
Don't have a clue.
Blue or black ink?
Definitely black.
(Happy, Fred? And, er, thanks Sweetie, but no thanks. Really, scarves better. Get yourself an LJ so you stop being "Anonymous", will you?)

Date: 2004-07-19 11:18 pm (UTC)Forgive my questions it's late (or really early... whatever :)
1/ Why do you write ?
2/ Where do you find your plot bunnies (or rather how do they find you) ?
3/ When do you write some good NC-17 ? ;)
4/ Person you admire ?
5/ Thing you are the proudest ?
6/ Deepest fear(s) ?
7/ when did you realise you were in love with your SO ?
(this one is optional, just in case of draw :)
Good luck !! ;)

Date: 2004-07-20 05:20 am (UTC)1/ Because otherwise those characters keep banging around in my skull, never leave me a moment's rest, and proceed to turn me crazier than I already am. Because I love them so and don't want to let them go. Because I strive to emulate my betters. Because I admire those favourite writers of mine (should it be on TV, film, or paper. Or screen, actually - as in fanfiction writers).
2/ Plot bunnies... that depends. Most of the time they jump out at me, as bunnies do, and then I sit down and work on them. Like something they don't cover in an episode/tv show/series/book, and that immediately sparks something in me. But sometimes I just have this intense desire to write about someone, or about this or that kind of interaction between characters, and I actually create the plot based on that.
Hmm. That answer your question?
3/I just did! Well, okay, maybe it's not good, and it's definitely not the kind *you* want to read (or is it?), and it's not so NC-17 as it could be, but still. Anyway, the kind you mean? Well, I don't know. I certainly don't have it planned. I tend to write R rather than NC-17, as far as sex is concerned, because none of my stories really needed for me to go into such details about the sex. R was enough. And I don't think I'll ever write any unless it's needed. But, as Arwen says... *there is still hope...*
4/ Just the one? Er... can't I do several? Joss. Johnny. Those people in every country that fought (and/or are still fighting) to be able to get married. All those people that I don't know I should admire, because they're heroes in their own small, quiet way... and not in the big Hollywood style of a hero. In the simple, quiet, "getting through life and its ordeals" way.
5/ Again with the singular? Er... Let's just do that in the fic department, that way I can actually choose just the one. These days... I'd say "Thou Liv'st Forever".
Actually, after much thinking... it's gonna sound very corny, but it's the relationships I've forged - knowing all of you BR guys, being your friend (and lover, in one case). It's getting along with my folk, too. *corny mode off*
6/ On a very superficial level, spiders. Brrr! In a less phobic way... losing myself. Not a in "where am I?" way. In a "who am I?" way.
7/ You know when. Don't you? If I say "comic relief", know what I mean? That's when I found that I could not deny it to myself anymore, and that it wasn't just lust or a fleeting crush.
