I'm heading off to Stratford tonight! Hamlet here I come. Which means radio silence from me for the duration of the weekend (even more so than usual).

Don't see why everybody's so excited about Fringe. Favourite characters are the Oz alumni; I think I'm biased. I also very much love to look at Joshua Jackson. But that's about it. I'm more excited about True Blood than about Fringe, and Joss knows I hated the pilot. But then again, True Blood is nothing but potential at the moment. Fringe just struck me as very... very mainstream. And very obvious, and expected, and blah. I don't know. Unless Joshua and Kirk's characters hook up, in which case I will be surprised. Very pleasantly so.

In other news, Sandman is eating up my brain. In an awesome way.

Alright, you all have a great weekend! I sure will.

I never got an e-mail from you! Unless you sent it today, I don't check my 18467 different e-mail addresses from work. fan-elune at livejournal dot com always works, anyway, when in doubt. :) I'm guessing it's about the arrondissement thing? I haven't done it yet, I'm afraid. Nor have I started working on the next OP episode. *hangs head* I'm horrid. But I've not forgotten!

Got it! Working on it, don't think it'll be ready for another two weeks on Friday, though. Would that be fine or would it need to be done for a week on Friday, or...? The e-mail's at home so I can't check what you said in there, sorry.

It doesn't "need" to be done in two weeks, don't worry :) If it's done in three weeks or even a month, it's alright ^^ I just wanted to have a deadline so that I can deal with the other 2 writers left ^^ whatever suits you is okay.

Ha! I'm so with you on that one. Fringe wasn't bad, it just... wasn't anything special which really didn't make me want to watch it. Not to mention I can already see it happening JJ-style with more questions left unanswered than anything else and it already annoys me. If I have the right show in mind, True Blood actually intrigued me. Not enough to watch, but still.

Oh, wait, no, I'm thinking this show with this guy whose wife and kid were killed and the serial killer leaves a really specific sign behind... dammit I think the guy sort of has a superpower but I can't remember what. He learns tons of stuff by just watching people and paying close attention. Okay this is just sad, I'll shut up now.

You're thinking of the Mentalist, honey. I need to watch that, actually. Also is it really a super power? I thought he was just smart. Anyway.

True Blood has the best viral campaign ever, and one of the worst pre-air pilots I've ever taken the time to watch. It's so sad. But seriously, it's HBO, it's bound to fulfill its potential, right?

Yes! Yes, that's it. ^^ And you're right, it's not a superpower I think, he's just reaaaaally good at reading people. But it sort of looks like a superpower when he does it which is probably why I kept that in mind.

What's the viral campaign like? It sounds like I will NOT take 45mns of my life to watch it...

Oh and have fun in Startford! :D

It's all about the hype surrounding the vampires coming out of the closet, and the TruBlood ad campaign (it's like synthetic blood, less good than human blood but that way vamps don't have to feed off of us). It's just awesome. If you hit YouTube you can find tons of stuff. And Stellan Skarsgaard's son plays a vampire who sounds absolutely entrancing (haven't seen him yet). Pre-air's not worth watching, no, and they're reshooting it with some cast changes and stuff, which is good, so you might as well wait for that. Plus it's by the creator of Six Feet Under so it's bound to be good, right? Despite a crappy pre-air. Please. It's gotta be. Too much potential.

Thanks! On my way now. :D
