Visiting this beautifullest (yuh-uh) of countries made me realise that this is the kind of country I want to live in. I want to live some place that's beautiful. I want to live some place that can take my breath away. I want to live some place that makes me want to go outside and spend time just lying about, listening to the sound of waterfalls or on top of a dormant volcano, or walking around for the sheer sake of the beauty of it all.
I wouldn't mind living here, I truly wouldn't. Learning Icelandic would be a bit of a challenge, too.
Am still open to suggestions of men with scars to add to this icon. (And you really don't see Inigo's in the screen caps I found, such a shame. I wanna see The Princess Bride again! /whine) And yes, I did that icon instead of reading up on all the e-mail I haven't had the time to read. I'm bad.
Oh, and I almost forgot:

You're flamboyant Jack. Wild gestures, swaying
walk, c'mon
Which of Jack's (from Pirates of the Caribbean) multiple personalities are you?

I'm not sure I can do the swaying walk... but I'll try.

Scars, scars....
Date: 2004-08-24 12:55 pm (UTC)Now, I don't know if you ever cared for him (though that "ok, now that we're done let's kill everybody and burn the place" habit of him is quite... er... fascinating?), nor even if he stays the bad guy after page 220, but...
(btw, I'm amazed at the amount of vocabulary that is beyond my reach in that novel. First time I'm so lost since my very first book in English ten years ago)
And, huh, I remember there was an lj entries of yours mentionning Thero. What was it about? Any idea on how deep I must dig to find it back?
Re: Scars, scars....
Date: 2004-08-24 01:02 pm (UTC)And, yes, Thero. I believe that was in my "how I'm supposed to take over the world" e-mail (if you still wanna find it, it was around the time of my exams, so beginning of June). I was supposed to "seduce a wizard's apprentice" or something like that, and as far as I remember, I pretty much thought of Thero right away. You might be hating him right now, but his character gets developped so much in the course of those novels... Ah. I heart Thero. Big time.

Date: 2004-08-24 01:16 pm (UTC)Good thing to hear about Thero, though. And no, not hating him, just not caring a single bit about him right now. He hasn't done anything wrong yet, despite being not quite... Oh, yeah, he did. "No sense of humor"??? Argh. :::veg:::

Date: 2004-08-24 01:24 pm (UTC)I'm on a Thero-love spiral now. He's like a younger Snape. With better looks, at least in my mind. ;)
