Give me two characters I write (from the same or different canons), and a prompt, and I'll tell you about one time they kiss.

Should I really list all my fandoms all over again? Let's see, a non-exhaustive list: Buffy/Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse, The Vampire Diaries, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Cowboy Bebop, Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl), The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, A Knight's Tale, Saving Grace, Lucifer Box, The Authority, Highlander, True Blood, Boy Meets Boy, Doctor Who/Torchwood, Battlestar Galactica/Caprica, Misfits, Nikita, La Femme Nikita, Pirates of the Caribbean, Queer As Folk UK, Sherlock, Shakespeare in Love, Spooks, Skins...

I'm going to stop listing here. You know a fandom I know and love, try your luck.

EDIT: I need to add Hellcats to the list, just because, so many people there that should be making out. And Glee because, yeah. Teenage snogs for the win.

To celebrate the fact that I have just written a tiny minuscule fic, after so long spent not ficcing, people, ask me for drabbles before the writer's block comes back.

Fandoms I will write for, in no particular order: Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse, Misfits, Skins (preferably the 'old' guys), Sherlock, Harry Potter, The Authority, Lucifer Box, the Nightrunners, Warchild and co, Alias, Spooks, Heroes (up until Adam's death), A Knight's Tale, Battlestar Galactica, Being Human (the original pilot only), Pitch Black, Dark Angel, Doctor Who/Torchwood, The Lord of the Rings, the Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Chuck, Sons of Anarchy, Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles, True Blood, Shakespeare in Love...

I'm going to stop listing fandoms. Most of you know what you can ask from me. Ask me for a fandom, specific characters if you want, and give me a prompt.

Pretty please?

Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] the_grynne, because I need to be distracted until hubby gets home and I can't for the life of me write anything creative these days. (Work is driving me INSANE.)

Comment with a fandom of mine and I will reply with my:

+ OTP
+ Runner-up
+ Honorable mention(s)
+ Crack pairing(s)
+ Ship everyone else seems to like, but I don't
fan_elune: (prelude to a kiss)
Grey's made me cry again, Skins made me squee, BSG made me its bride (I swear I will love that show 'til death do us part). Hustle is disappointing me, so is Leverage (finally watched more than the pilot). Time for Dollhouse yet?

Comment with a fandom, character(s) or pairing, and a prompt (word, quotation, picture, etc.) and I will try to fill as many requests as I can. You're allowed to make more than one request. Crossover requests are also allowed.

Movie meme gakked from [livejournal.com profile] the_grynne:

1. One movie that made you laugh: Most recently, it'll have to have been Wall-E. Right before that, Wanted.

2. One movie that made you cry: there have been very few times when I managed to watch Dead Poets' Society without crying. Yes, I've watched this movie an undecent amount of times. It owns a little piece of my soul.

3. One movie you loved when you were a child: Hook. I still know it by heart (the French version). "Toi tu as vraiment vraiment besoin d'une maman." "J'vais t'dire c'que c'est qu'une paramécie bicolore, m'sieur." "Hé, Rufio, va donc casser les noisettes de l'écureuil d'à côté." Etc.

4. One movie you've seen more than once: At the cinema? Casino Royale.

5. One movie you loved, but were embarrassed to admit it: I should be embarrassed for enjoying Waterworld as much as I did, shouldn't I, but I can't quite pull it off. I'm a tiny bit ashamed of liking Wanted, though, because it's so... yeah. But it was fun! And there was Jamie and Thomas! Also the High School Musicals. What? They're ridiculous and fun and I blame this on Joey.

6. One movie you didn't like: Before the Devil knows you're dead. I was really looking forward to it, but wound up being utterly bored. Also Capote. I guess PSH movies tend to disappoint me.

7. One movie that scared you: The Ring. The Japanese version, I haven't seen the American adaptation.

8. One movie that bored you: Apart from the above mentioned PSH movies? The Incredible Hulk. It bored me to tears.

9. One movie that made you happy: Wimbledon. I walked out of the theatre wanting to dance. It's been too long since I've watched it, I really should watch it again.

10. One movie that made you miserable: La Vita è bella. And the Pianist. And I love them to heartwrenching bits. They're movies that make you miserable and yet. Also every Ken Loach movie I've ever seen apart from Ae Fond Kiss, which is not miserable-making.

11. One movie you weren't brave enough to see: Borat. I started it, but couldn't finish. I just don't have that sort of courage. How utterly not funny.

12. One movie character you’ve fallen in love with: Chaucer, from A Knight's Tale. Rupert Everett's Marlowe, for all that he had one tiny scene and is hopelessly gay. Charlie Prince out of 3:10 to Yuma. I could keep listing them.

13. The last movie you saw: At the theatre, The Dark Knight.

14. The next movie you hope to see: I wish I could say Watchmen, but it's a long way until March. I wish I could say The Vintner's Luck, but still no news on a release date apart from "2009". Which is also a long way away. So it's going to be a filmed production of King Lear with Barry Lynch as Edmund. There shall be much, much squeeing. (Thanks again, Vae!) At the theatre? Babylon A.D. Mathieu Kassovitz and Vin Diesel doing sci-fi, I've gotta give it a try.

The first 15 people to comment on this post, with a fandom, character or pairing and prompt of some sort get to request a drabble from you. If they feel like it, and only if they feel like it, requesters can post this in their journal and write a drabble for you.

Fandoms I'll write in: Buffy, Angel, Firefly, The Tudors, Skins, Being Human, Highlander, Alias, Lost, Dexter, Hustle, Queer As Folk UK, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Rome, the Nightrunners, Boys Meet Boys, Battlestar Galactica, Carnivàle, Heroes, Harry Potter, Lucifer Box, The Authority, The Pirates of the Caribbean, Pretty Handsome, The Lord of the Rings.

Crossover prompts totally welcome.

So, Steven Moffat continues to own me. Like that's a surprise. Not at all daydreaming about Alex-Kingston-as-River/James-Nesbitt-as-Eleven now.

Also, for a Kara-and-Leoben-free episode, I really enjoyed the last BSG! Both Helo and Laura are able to hold a storyline, and oh, Helo, how much I love you. I also liked an Eight for the first time in a long time, possibly ever. And and and! Gaius. Is next week the last one before hiatus? I shall cry. And then start watching my dvds so I can stand the wait.

Meme snagged from [livejournal.com profile] the_grynne. Please take me up on it! I feel like drabbling.

Comment with a sentence from one of my fanfictions. Without looking, I have to try and guess which fic of mine the sentence is from. If I fail, the challenger wins a drabble request. Post this in your own journal and let me challenge you!

PS: I don't like the latest Saez.

Edit: PLEASE SAVE ME FROM MY BOREDOM and take me up on this meme. You can find all my fanfiction under the fanfiction tag. Or just ask me for drabbles, I don't care, I just wanna be not bored anymore.

I can't stop watching Deadwood. The only reason why I have is that I needed to rip JJG's En Passant album. Tout Etait Dit is quite simply one of the truest songs I have ever heard and either I'm gonna keep listening to it on a loop or I'm going to go back to Deadwood. Or alternate both. That sounds likely.

So I finally saw "No Night Is Too Long," wherein Lee Williams and Marc Warren have hot naked happy sweaty man sex. It's not anything earth shattering, but it's nice enough to watch if you like the actors. I think I'd have been rather bored were it not for my deep Marc Warren love. I've also recently watched him in the latest installment of Messiah; I hadn't seen any previous episodes, but now this I truly enjoyed.

But mostly! Ashes To Ashes, dudes. I can see how people wouldn't like Alex Drake, but I'm sorry, I do. Yes, she's very hysterical, but she thinks she's hallucinating! I can't dislike Keeley Hawes anyway, apparently. I know I should be heavily disliking her and her dynamics with Gene, but apparently I can't. I don't, anyway. I'm sold on them. When he came and just filled her glass at the counter and left her to go back to his table? I dug that. A lot. I also find it very interesting to see the different kind of sexism in the 80s, from the 70s. And Chris has balls! Dude. The overly cheesy hero shots around Gene I'm not sure how I feel about just yet. We'll see as the show goes on. I can't wait! Plus, Stephen Campbell Moore.

Supernatural I've really enjoyed for the past two episodes, and Lost is not actually boring me the way it used to. The L-Word is actually fun, too!

Now, just because I have a presentation on Aristotle's Poetics for Thursday, help me procrastinate creatively! Meme snagged from [livejournal.com profile] the_grynne!

I wanted to ask, and forgot. Those of you on the flist who've read (...or are reading, seeing as it's not quite over yet) Martin's Song of Ice and Fire, who would you love to see cast in what parts if HBO does adapt it? I'm curious.

...maybe Miranda Otto for Cersei, I'd be curious to see if she can pull her off. Tyrion would have to be either Michael J. Anderson or Peter Dinklage. Nobody is striking me as right for Jaime just yet but if they miscast him I will SCREAM. Oh, and the Hound, they need to cast him right. Orly for the Knight of Flowers! That's all I have right now. I need to track down physical descriptions and make with the thinking. ...after my exams.

Edit: because I like this meme, although I probably won't get around to answering any requests until after Wednesday. Gakked from [livejournal.com profile] yahtzee63.

Give me one of my own stories, and a timestamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll write you at least a hundred words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future.

I actually truly enjoyed the Christmas special. I thought it was well written, David was as excellent as ever, and they emphasised the horror that came with being the Doctor, which is all I could ask for. The bride even grew on me; Catherine Tate was excellent, too. It almost made me wish she would be his companion.

Now, I was just wondering if I ought to get this meme going again, because I'd loved doing it last time round, when it popped up on the flist. So, gakked from [livejournal.com profile] spritter: Leave a list of fictional characters in your journal that you would love to get a message from. It is your friend-list's mission, should they choose to accept it, to write you an in-character "letter" from a character on that list.

Thanks in advance. (Yes so I keep changing the list because I can't make up my bleedin' mind. Ssshhhh.)

Please go and tell me who my celeb boyfriend/girlfriend should be.

In other news, I'm OBSESSED with Chris Cornell's You Know My Name. Like I have rarely been. I keep listening to it. I never listen to just the one song this much, on a loop. Except I do this one.

I love Casino Royale far too much for a movie which I didn't think was all that good. And yet. Lovelovelove. And I want to marry that first chase scene. Through the construction site and all. Oh, god, I love Parkour, and that was one of the best scenes of characterisation with no dialogue ever. Possibly I'm using a superlative when I shouldn't but it was just brilliant and yes, I want to marry it. I also want James and Felix to have hot sex already.

The Prestige was no Memento, but it was still highly enjoyable. The cast helped. A lot. Borat is really not that funny. I'm sorry, it's just not. I don't think I actually got to the end of it? Wedding Wars is adorable and totally a TV movie and not that good but who cares it's fun and Eric Dane looks reaaaally hot in a tank top (I have a thing for wifebeaters, I'm sorry) and Sean Maher has never acted so much like himself as when he acted gay. Go read Joey's LJ for a lot more on the subject.

FLIST. I love you. Your virtual Christmas presents made me grin like a lunatic. Oh, god, so much love. Thank you.

So yeah, it's all over LJ but I need to have my own mini-ramble about it because seriously. People will have said it much more eloquently than me, I'm not even gonna aim for eloquent, I just need to profess my love for my fandom.

For those who still had any doubts, I hope this weekend settled the fact that the Firefly fandom is absolutely the best fandom of all times. I feel so much love for everybody involved. So. Much. Love. Including Clare Kramer. A special mention also goes to Jonny Woodward, who seems to have been instrumental in the last minute plans. Our captain was our captain, Alan came despite an early flight to go shoot on the Saturday, Michael Muhney showed up just because he didn't want the fans disappointed and he's not even a Firefly guy how much do I love this guy, Michael Fairman showed up which makes me so happy because that means he absolutely meant what he told us at Serenity Cubed and we love you too Michael, Christina brought her date along (it was their first date!), Mark generally rocks ("why wouldn't I come?") as does Adam who stepped by on Thursday to cheer up the crowds, Tim showed up yesterday, Morena wasn't scheduled either but she came by, the Feldman twins were there too, I know I must be forgetting people but come on who can blame me so many people showed up!

And let's also cheer for the SoCal Browncoats who helped organise everything that made this weekend into the wonderful success that BE seemed intent it wouldn't be, as well as the Browncoats who weren't attending Flan but donated so much to help throw this impromptu Backup Browncoat Bash. I love my fandom, I love the people in it, I love you all. They can't take the sky from us.

January: Happy new year, everyone. You all deserve the best - or at least the very very bleedin' excellent.

February: A break from all the hotties to talk films and series for a minute.

March: I do not know why it is snowing that much.

April: So. First of all, quick update for those of you not French who might not really be in the know of what's going on in France these days.

May: So, I'm back. And I took notes, because I love you all and wanted to share the Alan and Ron goodness.

June: Tell me, are all football matches that GAY?

July: Happy birthday, houses7177! And happy Canada day, Canadians!

August: It shows how geeky I am that I keep expecting the hoover here to come to life and go "Exterminate, exterminate!"

September: 1. Snakes on a Plane? I genuinely enjoyed myself. I'm wondering if I should feel ashamed about that.

October: I've been able to read The Authority - Human on the inside thanks to [info]kirke_novak, which I am ever so thankful about, and I am in love with the art.

November: So I've been shite at keeping up with the flist for the past week and then some, and I don't think I'm going to catch up.

December: ajktgfhgaémjgfahgfadjhf

Thanks to everybody who helped with their lists of hotties! I've now got all my guys figured out and more or less ranked, I think. I'll start making posts some time soon with the guys.

For those of you who have seen the spoiler pic for Torchwood (THE spoiler pic OMGSQUEE), how awful is it not to be able to icon this on account of spoilers? I've been staring at it for way too long.
